Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2002738A1] The method involves directly rolling a sheet without using a cylindrical support, and forming a cylindrical rigid case (9) with tubes (2, 3), where the tubes are formed by cutting a heatweldable hollow plastic rod, and ends (4, 5) of the tubes are closed by heat sealing. The rolled sheet is inserted in the tubes of the rigid case, where the closed ends of the tubes are arranged at opposite ends of the case when the tubes are assembled. The case with the sheet is packaged in a flexible package made of aluminum foil. An independent claim is also included for a sheet package comprising a rigid case.
