Abstract (en)

The method involves connecting the stamping machine (102,103,104) and a remote data center (106) over a communication network (105) in a connecting step. The data stored in the stamping machine as security data is transmitted to the data center in a transmission step. The security data is stored in the data center in a storage step. The security data comprises of user-defined configuration data of the stamping machine, which are defined by the user of the stamping machine for configuration of the stamping machine. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement for data processing (2) a method for the configuration of a stamping machine (3) a stamping machine for the arrangement.

Verfahren zur Datensicherung einer Frankiermaschine, bei dem in einem Datensicherungsschritt (107.3) in einem Verbindungsschritt zwischen der Frankiermaschine (102, 103, 104) und einer entfernten Datenzentrale (106) eine Verbindung über ein Kommunikationsnetz (105) aufgebaut wird, in einem Übermittlungsschritt in der Frankiermaschine (102, 103, 104) gespeicherte Daten als Sicherungsdaten an die Datenzentrale (106) übermittelt werden und in einem Speicherschritt die Sicherungsdaten in der Datenzentrale (106) gespeichert werden, wobei die Sicherungsdaten nutzerdefinierbare Konfigurationsdaten der Frankiermaschine (102, 103, 104) umfassen, die durch den Nutzer der Frankiermaschine (102, 103, 104) zur Konfiguration der Frankiermaschine (102, 103, 104) definierbar sind.
