[origin: DE102007010114A1] The method involves connecting the stamping machine (102,103,104) and a remote data center (106) over a communication network (105) in a connecting step. The data stored in the stamping machine as security data is transmitted to the data center in a transmission step. The security data is stored in the data center in a storage step. The security data comprises of user-defined configuration data of the stamping machine, which are defined by the user of the stamping machine for configuration of the stamping machine. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement for data processing (2) a method for the configuration of a stamping machine (3) a stamping machine for the arrangement.
