Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2003622A2] The method involves detecting both optical characteristics and radio frequency identification (RFID) characteristics from a stamp (W) by an analyzing device (A). The optical characteristics and RFID characteristics are transmitted together with an identification number of the analyzing device to an inspection control center (UE) through a communication channel (K), where the control center executes the authenticity checking for the stamp. The result of the checking is transmitted to the analyzing device through the channel, where the analyzing device indicates the result of the checking.
