[origin: EP2003635A2] The display (10) has a set of LEDs (16) located on a carrier for producing visible electromagnetic radiation. The carrier arranged in a housing (12) such that the radiation is produced from a part of the set of LEDs that radiates in a direction pointing away from a display side (22). The LEDs are attached to the display side that is covered by partial translucent cover material, and are connected with the carrier such that an outer surface is defined by the cover material, where the outer surface is defined by a subrange of an outer upper surface of the display.
