[origin: WO2007115761A1] The invention relates to furniture and to a device for influencing the displacement of furniture parts (7, 8, 9, 10) which can be displaced in relation to each other, comprising a drive unit (14, 15, 16) which enables a first furniture part (8, 9, 10) to be driven in a displaceable manner in relation to a second furniture part (7) with the aid of a control unit for controlling the displacement of the first furniture part (8, 9, 10). According to the invention, the control unit is configured such that after a trigger action of said unit, the first furniture part (8, 9, 10) is displaced into a predefined position and is held there. Said predefined position differs from an end position of the first furniture part (8, 9, 10).
