Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2898267A1] The implant has a femoral head cap (2) with central and equatorial axes. An intersection point is formed between the axes and forms a center of curvature radius of external and internal faces (7, 8) delimited by a peripheral edge (11). The face (8) has a cylindrical finger (9) carried by an axis passing through the point and inclined at an angle relative to the central axis. A flat bar (10) of the internal face is eccentric and is disposed in a plane parallel to a plane containing the finger in order to be inclined at an angle identical to the former angle and relative to the central axis. An independent claim is also included for a cutting ancillary for preparing a femoral head of a femur permitting implementation of a resurfacing implant.
