[origin: DE102006015521B3] The tooth formation includes teeth flanks (4, 5, 6) with an ellipse (10, 11, 12) in their foot regions (7, 8, 9). The ellipse has semi-axes (a, b) of different lengths. The alpha turning angle of the ellipse is between 0 and 90[deg] to a radius (R) through the foot point. The flanks are symmetrical about a plane of symmetry (A) dividing the tooth axially.
