[origin: DE202006014631U1] The device has a measuring container (9) attached to a weighing platform of a scale, and a supply pipeline attached at edges of the container. The pipeline is connected with a control valve that is energized by control electronics, and volume of water flowing into the container is determined from the weight measured by the scale, during preset flow rate measuring time. A central part of a measured value processing device (41) is a computer (24) with a programming unit that computes measuring error of the meter from a comparison between a preset volume and the determined volume of the meter.
