[origin: WO2007110194A1] The invention relates to a method for optimising the use of the airside capacity of an airport. According to said method, an electronic data processing system calculates the current operating capacity of the airport and the current traffic requirements. Information for the optimum use of available resources is determined and output from the current operating capacity and the current traffic requirements. The invention also relates to an information system and a control system for the optimum use of the runway and to a software programme for executing said method.
