Abstract (en)

[origin: DE102006016280A1] The module has a layer structure with a solar cell (6) in the starting, an inorganic barrier layer (2), an inorganic-organic hybrid polymer barrier layer (3), a transparent adhesive layer (4a) and a transparent cover film (1b) in a front side of the module and an adhesive layer (4b) and a standard backing film (7b) in a rear side of the module. The layer (2) consists of aluminum oxide, and the layer (4a) is a hot metal adhesive film. A polymer paint film (5) is arranged between the solar cell and the layer (2), and the transparent cover film consists of a poly-carbonate. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a glassless thin-film solar module.
