[origin: EP2006030A2] The device has a dosing valve (2) connected with a carrier (11) and including an outlet for flowable substance e.g. adhesive, where an outer closure (8) is provided for the outlet of the valve. The dosing valve is arranged in such a manner that the outlet is upwardly directed, and the outer closure for the outlet is movably arranged between a working position and a resting position, where the outer closure closes the outlet from outside in the resting position of the closure. The closure is fastened to a holder (8a), which is arranged at a fixed carrier (13) and is swivelable around an axis.
