[origin: EP2006035A2] The device (10) has a sterilization unit (12) that is arranged in a housing (11). An operating unit (21) is partially fed into the housing, and fluid and gaseous sterilization agents are applied to portions of the operating unit by the sterilization unit. The sterilization unit includes a pipeline (13) with outlets (14) for the agents. The housing has an opening (20) for feeding the operating unit. A retainer (22) is provided between side-pieces (24, 25) of the sterilization unit. The opening and/or retainer are integrated into a storage surface (23) that is made of PTFE.
