[origin: EP2006207A2] The drop safety device has a ring body (1) attached at a bottle neck, where the body is manufactured from a natural or artificial sponge. The ring body is in the form of a hollow circular cylinder. The ring body has an inner diameter from 20 millimeter to 40 millimeter and/or an outer diameter from 30 millimeter to 50 millimeter and/or a height from 5 millimeter upto 15 millimeter. The ring body is arranged in a wrap, which is made of a foldable flat material.
