[origin: EP2006601A2] The unit has a liquid-cooled illumination unit for illuminating a fountain and a water jet. The illumination unit includes LEDs (6) that are arranged in a housing (3). The LEDs are arranged on a common board (4), which includes a cooling channel limiting a liquid-cooled side. The illumination unit is arranged at a heat-conductive plate (13) that limits the cooling channel of the board. The plate is arranged at the common board. The housing includes a central area with a cooling module. A cooling liquid inlet (2) is arranged in a lower area of the housing.
