Abstract (en)
[origin: GB2437282A] Polyethyloxazolines can be used as water-soluble adhesives. A water based liquid adhesive comprises 50-70 % by weight of polyethyloxazoline. A method of applying an adhesive coating to paper applies a solution of polyethyloxazoline to the paper. Preferably the polyethyloxazoline has a molecular weight of less than 500,000 Daltons and a viscosity of 5,000-50,000 MPa.s.
