Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1840321A1] The device has a curtain (2) with flexible lateral edges (4) having a thick region (4`). The curtain has cables (21) incompressible in the direction of their length and extending parallel to the edges of the curtain for applying a pushing force on the edges along longitudinal direction to move the curtain towards closing position. The edges have a neutral surface (24) in cables, where the surface is formed during flexion of the cables. The cables are non-irremovably fixed with respect to the curtain near the edges by avoiding relative displacement with respect to the curtain.
