[origin: WO2007116053A1] The invention relates to a radial piston pump (1) for supplying fuel at high-pressure to an internal combustion engine, comprising a compression chamber (4) arranged in a displacement housing (3), a reciprocating piston (7) which is arranged in a cylinder chamber (6), a suction valve (10) which is connected to a fuel supply line (9) and comprises a spring-loaded (11) closure body (12), an intermediate piece, a threaded pin (14) and a pressure valve (16) which is connected to a fuel outlet line (17). According to the invention, the closing body (12) of the suction valve (10) is embodied as a valve end pad (18) with the spring exerting a force on the front end thereof. Said valve end pad comprises a closure collar (19) and at least two channels (20,20',20'') that are distributed around the periphery and which adjoin the closure collar (19) and a base plate (34). A stop plate (22) comprising an additional base plate (36) borders the closure collar (19) of the valve end pad (18) as an intermediate piece to which the threaded pin is connected.
