Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2008735A1] The tool has motion units, which speeds up a support in a region of a workpiece part (12) with acceleration from a support position (P) along a gravitational force direction, where the acceleration is greater than the acceleration of workpiece part along the gravitational force direction. The motion units move the accelerated support with a speed along an open position such that the support is situated outside the line of motion of the workpiece part and the workpiece part achieves a transportation position (W) outdoors. An independent claim is also included for a method for passing a part of a plate-like workpiece e.g. steel sheet, from a support position into a transportation position.
