Abstract (en)
The element has a sheet (1) comprising intermediate zones (29, 31, 33), where the zone (29) forms a flap folded along a tip against a side wall (9). The sheet has tears guiding strips (51a, 51b) with respective ends (55a, 55b) that are heat-sealed on the sheet for forming a single pull tab (58) to cause tears. The strip (51b) has a shape symmetric to that of the strip (51a) with respect to a median axis (A). The pull tab is spaced laterally from the axis (A) and projects from a length of the zone (29). The strips are made of polyethylene and have a thickness less than 36 micrometers. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a food product packaging package comprising an element for making the package (2) an assembly comprising a food product packaging package and a food product (3) a strip cutting installation (4) a method for cutting a strip from a film.
