[origin: EP2009256A2] The arrangement has a heat exchanger (14) for heating the engine oil provided in an oil tank (13) in an engine block (12) of an internal combustion engine and arranged in an oil sump (15) of the oil tank. Hot combustion gases are fed over a bypass line (10) through the heat exchanger. Another heat exchanger (20) arranged in the oil tank is integrated in a coolant circuit (3) of the combustion engine. The heat exchangers are formed as a single-piece and partially comprise a common separation wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for heating a drive unit of an internal combustion engine.
