[origin: EP2009668A1] The discharge lamp (10) has a blow pipe (40) and a socket (22) provided for mechanical and electrical connection of the lamp with a lamp holder. The blow pipe has a rolling seal (42) that defines a proximal area (11) of the lamp, where the rolling seal is tuned to the socket along a drawing axis (100). The socket forms a plane (E1) and another plane (E2) that is arranged perpendicular to the drawing axis. Contact pins (50, 51) are respectively arranged on the planes, so that the contact pins are arranged and set with respect to each other.
