Abstract (en)

[origin: GB2436791A] A foldable container 1 for picnics consists of a foldable blank 2 connected to a sheet of material 3. When the blank 2 is folded it is used to carry a picnic, and when unfolded, the sheet 3 can be spread out to form a mat, allowing users to eat the picnic. Preferably the sheet of material 3 is cloth, and covers the whole of blank 2 in the unfolded position. Preferably the blank consists of a base, two sidewalls 4, and two end walls 5, webs being provided between the sidewalls and end walls 6. A lid 8 and handle 51 may also be provided.
