Abstract (en)

[origin: GB2437164A] A vehicle seat arrangement in which vehicle seats arranged in rows having a support structure comprising a strut 16 and at least one leg 8 mounted on the strut such that the support structure is disposed forwardly of a seat pan 2, such that a recess is formed for accommodating the knees of a passenger sitting in a row behind. Also disclosed is a seat which pivots about a point at knee height, a seat assembly having a tilting seat in which both the seat pan 2 and the seat back 4 are moveable, a seat assembly having a pivoting arm rest 44 and a support for a seat structure comprising a support strut and at least one foot in which the support strut is located under the front edge of the seat pan.
