Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2900143A1] The method involves supplying a container (4) equipped with a mouth (40) forming a screw neck (41) which comprises a locking ring delimiting an opening. A closure cap which comprises a metallic shell (2) equipped of a metallic head (20) and an non threaded insert, is supplied. The opening is closed by assembling the seal with the mouth, and a metallic apron (21) of the shell is compressed against the neck by exerting radial compression on the apron. A screw thread (410) of the neck is penetrated in an inner apron of the cap to obtain the mouth closed by a screw cap (1`). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a crown and seal for implementing a container (2) a container closed by a crown and seal (3) a capsuling device for implementing a container capsuling method.
