[origin: WO2007121738A1] A method is disclosed, for providing at least one piece of information to a mobile communication device, in particular, a mobile telephone of a user, wherein the user requests at least one piece of NFC information from the server which processes the same and transmits the requested NFC information to the mobile communication device, in particularly, a mobile telephone, PDA or similar of the user over a mobile radio network. The received NFC information is processed by at least one application on the mobile communication device and stored in at least one NFC memory such that an NFC receiver may directly access the NFC information. A device for carrying out said method is also disclosed.
