[origin: EP2011465A2] The chair has front and rear frame parts (7, 12) pivotably connected with each other through a common transverse axis (13) by a bent lever (10), and a seat (6) connected at the transverse axis. An upper frame part (15) is provided as an extension of the front frame part, and is pivotable in a region of the transverse axis. The front and rear frame parts intersect in a region of the transverse axis, and the seat and/or a backrest (2) of the seat is adjustable in its inclination. The front and rear frame parts and the bent lever form an acute-angled triangle.
