Abstract (en)
The vehicle (1) has an access platform (4) extending between lateral surfaces, where the platform is adjacent to a traveling space (6). The platform comprises a vertically movable plate (5) to permit a reduced mobility passenger to access/exit from the platform from/towards a wharf of height (Qi) when the plate is placed in a loading/unloading position. A passage unit (11) e.g. movable floor, permits circulation of the reduced mobility person between the traveling space and the plate independent of the loading/unloading position. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting a position of an accessing device.

Véhicule ferroviaire (1) comprenant une plate-forme d'accès (4) s'étendant entre deux faces latérales (3), au moins une des faces comportant une porte latérale d'accès (2), la plate-forme d'accès (4) étant adjacente à au moins un espace passagers (6,6') et comprenant un plateau mobile verticalement (5) de manière à permettre à des passagers à mobilité réduite d'accéder à /sortir de la plate-forme d'accès (4) depuis /vers un quai (27) de hauteur Qi (i= 0, 1,2,..., n), lorsque ledit plateau mobile (5) est placé dans une position d'embarquement / débarquement Ei (i= 0, 1,2,..., n), caractérisé en ce que ledit véhicule (1) comporte au moins un moyen de passage (11,11') permettant la circulation des personnes à mobilité réduite, entre ledit espace voyageurs (6, 6') et ledit plateau mobile (5) quelque soit la position d'embarquement / débarquement Ei (!=0, 1, 2, ...,n) de celui-ci.
