Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2012083A1] The projectile has a metallic core (20) partially surrounded by a plastic cladding (10). The metallic core forms a projectile base (22) and has a cylinder section (21) close to the base with a field-near diameter, and an inner cylinder section (26) with small diameter. The plastic cladding has the inner cylinder section, where whole diameter results for a cylinder section (14) connected to the base near the cylinder section, and corresponds to a nominal diameter of a projectile casing of a rifling caliber of a corresponding tube of a handgun.
