Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2012395A2] The connector has a contact carrier (11) with contact units (12) e.g. socket, and a housing (13) with a front opening (14) and a rear opening (15) that is opposite to the front opening, where the contact units are accessible over the front opening. A connecting cable is guided into the housing over the rear opening. Shock absorbers (17) and a cable insertion nozzle (18) made from rubber material are provided at a housing base (16) that is made of a hard material e.g. thermoplastic.
