Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007124808A1] The invention relates to an implant for fixing two bone parts which are to be connected together, comprising a first plate-shaped bearing element for arranging on the inner surfaces of the bone parts, at least two tightening elements which are arranged at a transversal distance from said bone parts and which are connected thereto, and a second plate-shaped bearing element for arranging on the outer surfaces of the bone barts, which enables the tightening elements to be tightened to the first bearing element, said tightening element being guided through the intermediate chamber between the bone parts. The aim of the invention is to improve handling of the implant when tightening such that the tightening elements are interconnected on their ends opposite the first bearing element by means of a bridge.
