[origin: WO2007124821A1] The invention relates to a device for dispensing labels (4.2) on objects (10), especially self-adhesive labels, by pulling off labels from a path-like support material (4.1) on a dispensing edge (9) over which the support material is advanced in a clocked feed motion and wherein the label material is continuously pulled off by a supply (3, 5) of labels and support material and is carried to the dispensing edge (9) by means of a loop-forming device (8) that loops the label material.
