[origin: DE102006021029A1] The device (11) has a temperature sensor (22) arranged at a lower side of a retainer (13). The temperature sensor is arranged outside of a central area of the retainer and/or an induction heating device. An induction coil of the induction heating device is arranged below the retainer forming a closed area. The temperature sensor is detachably fastened to the induction coil and/or a coil carrier (20) of the induction coil, where the carrier is provided with an insulating material such as temperature-resistant plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for temperature measurement of an electrical cooking device.
