Abstract (en)
The sump (1) is made of a sheet metal and having a reinforced edge. The sump is resting under intermediate layer of a sealing in the installed condition at the internal-combustion engine or the drive. The reinforcement is made of a separate metal part (2), which is fixed under deformation of a sump edge (3) in a form fit and force fit manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sump.

Wanne (1) zur Verwendung an Brennkraftmaschinen oder Getrieben, wobei die Wanne (1) aus einem mittels Tiefziehen geformten Metallblech besteht und einen verstärkten Rand (3) aufweist, mittels dem sie unter Zwischenlage einer Dichtung (4) im montierten Zustand an der Brennkraftmaschine oder dem Getriebe anliegt. Es ist vorgesehen, dass die Verstärkung aus wenigstens einem separaten Metallteil (2) besteht, das unter Verformung des Wannenrandes (3) formschlüssig und/ oder kraftschlüssig an diesem befestigt ist.
