[origin: EP2014420A1] The combustion-powered setting apparatus comprises a combustion motor for a setting piston (13) located in a guide cylinder (12) as well as at least one combustion chamber (14) that has a ventilator (16) for the combustion motor and a control unit (30) via which the ventilator is controllable dependent on the thermal control parameters (T neu). The control unit has a program for modelling of the thermal control parameters based on time data and ventilator power data. There may be a time measurement system (34) for determining the actual time point (T neu).
