Eine Schalung (2), zur Herstellung von Betonformen, mit einem Grundkörper (4), der einen Schalungsboden (6) trägt, mit Seitenelementen (8) und mit einer Verschlußanordnung (18), zur Überführung wenigstens eines Seitenelements (8) von einer Öffnungsposition (12) in eine Schließposition (14) wird dadurch verbessert, daß die Verschlußanordnung (18) zumindest ein Federelement (20) aufweist, das das wenigstens eine Seitenelement (8) in dessen Schließposition (14) in Richtung Grundkörper (4) kraftbeaufschlagend angeordnet ist.
