Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Montieren einer biegsamen Druckform (01) auf einem Formzylinder (06) einer Rotationsdruckmaschine, wobei ein an einer Vorderkante (02) der Druckform (01) abgekanteter Einhängeschenkel (03) an einer Kante (04) einer zu einem im Formzylinder (06) angeordneten Kanal (07) führenden Öffnung (08) eingehängt wird, wobei die am Formzylinder (06) eingehängte Druckform (01) von mindestens einem getrennt vom Formzylinder (06) angeordneten Haltemittel (11) gehalten wird, wobei in Axialrichtung des Formzylinders (06) nebeneinander mehrere Druckformen (01) angeordnet werden, wobei jede dieser nebeneinander anzuordnenden Druckformen (01) jeweils von einem steuerbaren Haltemittel (11) gehalten wird, wobei eine im Wirkungsbereich des betreffenden Haltemittels (11) vorhandene Druckform (01) selbsttätig erkannt wird.
