Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2014470A1] The method involves providing a compression pressure in a printing unit (Dn), which is provided last in a material rolling direction. Rotary encoder positions are detected and stored. A correction value for a position of imprints is detected from comparison of the encoder positions such that a correction parameter causes that register marks lie at a distance and adjacent to each other after completion of correction. An automatic register control of the printing unit downstream to the last printing unit in web movement direction (L) is activated. An independent claim is also included for a device for automatic control of a register between imprints.
