Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2014547A1] The swiveling bowsprit comprises two spars (2.1, 2.2) which are connected at the end further from the boat. The nearer ends are attached by pivots (4.2) to telescopic bars (3.1, 3.2) mounted on the boat (1) and swivel when the bars are extended or retracted. Independent claims are included for: (A) boats fitted with the bowsprit; and (B) a method for swiveling a bowsprit using the system.
