[origin: EP2014573A2] A composite package (110) containing at least two adjacently disposed articles (A), wherein an upper flange portion (116) of each article protrudes beyond the extent of a base of each article and provides a point of abutment or connection (114) between the two articles. The package comprises a sheet of material wrapped around the articles and an insert (120) having a spacer structure (140) disposed between the articles for maintaining a minimum distance between the articles.
