Abstract (en)
The self-closing system for insect screens comprises a hinge (4) which swivels about a first pivot (4). This is biased towards the closed position by a spring (6) which is mounted so that it can swivel about a second pivot (6') which is spaced from the first. An independent claim is included for use of the system for insect screens fitted on window frames.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Selbstschließvorrichtung für einen schwenkbaren Insektenschutzrahmen (1) mit einem Scharnier (4) mit einer ersten Schwenkachse (4') und einem dem Scharnier (4) zugeordneten Federelement (6), wobei das Federelement (6) im Montagefall in eine Schließstellung vorgespannt ist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Federelement (6) eine zweite Schwenkachse (6') aufweist und dass das Federelement (6) im Montagefall derart an dem Scharnier (4) angeordnet ist, dass die zweite Schwenkachse (6') des Federelements (6) von der ersten Schwenkachse (4') des Scharniers beabstandet ist.
