[origin: WO2006097581A1] The invention concerns a single-piece floor-type stirrup (20) with front and rear foot-support comprising two rear fasteners of the ends of a double strap (10) supported by the pendant (9) of an adjustable stirrup leather (4) or by a rear stirrup leather (26) likewise adjustable hooked to a loop (28) secured to the saddle; the stirrup front comprises an articulated footstrap (21) suspended on the stirrup leather (4). The rear outer fastener is provided with means for lateral release of the foot in case of a fall. The wide seat of the suspension of the stirrup with reduced floor reduces the pendular effect caused on the standard suspension and improves the rider's dynamic stability and facilitates balance learning for beginners.
