Abstract (en)
The core has curved or bent cross-sectional shaped recesses (3, 4) penetrating into a thickness direction, and arranged so that the core is extended in a direction of tension (5) to form through holes. The recesses are formed such that the recesses are provided at a stretched out distance, in which the core is stable against contraction without application of tensile force. The recesses are arranged in pairs of rows (2a-2c) transverse to the direction of tension and a recess direction, and are interlocked with each other. The core is made of elastic polyurethane foam or natural latex.

Es wird ein Kern (1) aus einem elastischen Material für eine Matratze oder ein Möbelpolster offenbart, welcher eine Mehrzahl von den Kern in seiner Dickenrichtung durchsetzenden Einschnitten (3, 4) aufweist. Die Einschnitte sind derart ausgebildet und angeordnet, dass der Kern in einer Zugrichtung (5) auseinanderziehbar ist, so dass die Einschnitte Durchbrechungen des Kerns bilden und es mindestens einen auseinandergezogenen Zustand gibt, in dem der Kern auch ohne Anwendung einer Zugkraft gegenüber dem Zusammenziehen stabil ist. Dazu sind die Einschnitte bevorzugt in Paaren (2a, 2b, 2c) von Reihen angeordnet, wobei die Einschnitte in den beiden Reihen eines Paars entgegengesetzt orientiert und miteinander verzahnt sind.
