[origin: DE102007033199B3] The method involves strongly displacing wedges (5, 6), which are adjustable relative to each other, relative to each other depending on degree of compensation or embossing. Force is exerted before the displacement, and the wedge (5) is balanced or raised. The relative displacement is accomplished and then unloading or lift force is decreased or reversed or stopped. The force is applied for unloading or lifting the wedges mechanically, hydraulically, pneumatically or magnetically by air, gas or liquid introduced under or between the wedges. An independent claim is also included for a bending machine comprising wedges.
