The device has a traction mechanism (12) led in a continuous hem (11) along edges of an awning cloth (6). A fixing unit (13) fixes a longitudinal side end of the traction mechanism at a longitudinal side end of a welt (9). A rolling-up unit (14) is fixed at another longitudinal side end of the traction mechanism, where the longitudinal side ends of the traction mechanism protrude over the hem. The traction mechanism is rolled-up with the hem lying in a groove of a descending bar (8) during an operation of the rolling-up unit, and the welt is pulled into the hem.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Montage eines Markisentuchs (6) an einer Fallstange (8) einer Gelenkarmmarkise (1). Ein Zugmittel (12) ist in einem entlang eines Randes des Markisentuchs (6) verlaufenden Saum (11) geführt. Durch Fixiermittel (13) ist ein erstes längsseitiges, über den Saum (11) hervorstehendes Ende des Zugmittels (12) an einem längsseitigen Ende eines Keders (9) fixierbar. Eine Aufwickeleinheit (14) ist am zweiten längsseitigen, über den Saum (11) hervorstehenden Ende des Zugmittels (12) fixierbar. Bei in einer Nut (10) der Fallstange (8) liegendem Saum (11) wird durch Betätigen der Aufwickeleinheit (14) das Zugmittel (12) an dieser aufgewickelt und dadurch der Keder (9) in den Saum (11) eingezogen.
