Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2017462A1] The method involves guiding the fuel through a section (11) of a medium line (2). A filter element (6) which is provided to filter the fuel is arranged in a bypass (4). The bypass is locked by a fastening element (3), which is implemented as a thermal valve. The filtration is deactivated after specific operating condition, when operating temperature of the fastening element is achieved. An independent claim is also included for a device for cleaning a section of medium line of combustion engine.
