[origin: EP2017529A1] The burner (1) has inner and outer tubes (5, 6) delimiting an axial flow primary air supply duct (4) and movable between open and closed positions. The tube (5) has a downstream end (7) carrying an annular flange (8) with grooves extended along an axial direction. The tube (6) has a closing portion (13) arranged such that a distance radially separating the portion from the flange allows a high passage of air between the flange and the portion when the tubes are in open position. The distance is null such that part of the air passes via the grooves in closed position of the tubes.
