Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2017546A1] The method involves holding a heating block in a housing of an electrical heater under pretensioning force of a spring element (96) arranged at height of the heating block in an installation position. Opposite frame openings are formed by the housing, where the heating block is lifted between the openings such that the heating block is enclosed in the housing by a housing part (6). The spring element is placed in a plane containing the heating block for embedding the heating block, while closing of the housing. The element is fixed by applying the pretensioning force. An independent claim is also included for an electric heater with a housing and a heating block.
