[origin: DE102006040044B3] The method involves transporting fibers (3) from a fiber dosing device (1) by a transporting device in such a manner that the fibers come out from outlets (31, 32) of pressure lines of the transporting device in two separated partial flows that are merged to a fiber flow (45). The fibers are coated by coating spray nozzles (46-49), where two of the nozzles (46, 47) are directed toward an inner surface of the partial flow between the outlets of the lines and the merged fiber flow, and the other two nozzles (48, 49) are directed toward each upper surface of the merged fiber flow. An independent claim is also included for a device for coating fiber provided for manufacturing of a fiber-board.
