[origin: WO2007134742A2] The invention relates to a photovoltaic cell, particularly a color-sensitized solar cell, comprising a conductive support substrate (10) coated with a metal oxide semiconductor layer (16), a color layer (18) embodied so as to electronically interact with the metal oxide semiconductor layer, an electrolyte layer (32) that is applied to the color layer, and a counter-electrode (20) which is connected to the electrolyte layer. The support substrate and/or the counter-electrode is/are made from a flexible fabric composed of a plurality of interwoven fibers.
